Only six more months until Oktoberfest…
Bayern Munich’s Oktoberfest kits have had quite the array of colors since their official introduction in 2021, with dark green, wine red, bile (?), and gray gracing them so far. This time, Bayern will suit up in another rather unorthodox look.
As a previous leak shows, the main color of the shirt will be light beige, perhaps a similar color to the current third kit, but maybe lighter. Now, according to the good people at Footy Headlines, the colors of the shirt’s details have also been revealed as black and moss green, or a grass green, if you will. The shirt is said to be inspired by traditional dirndl designs. For those who don’t know, dirndls are the traditional dress that women in Bavaria wear. Bayern fans can normally see them on the Frauen players or the men’s team’s wives and girlfriends during Oktoberfest. Quite fitting, since the last Oktoberfest kit was inspired by the traditional Lederhosen look of Bavarian men.

Moreover, Footy Headlines makes a slight prediction that the kit will be the same design as the upcoming third kit. This is not too far-fetched, since the last two Oktoberfest kits have both been palette swaps of the respective seasons’ third kits. If this is true, the kit will also boast a design inspired by Marienplatz, the famous city hall where Bayern celebrates its titles.
There is no information yet on whether Bayern will use a custom made logo, choose a retro logo, or go back to the edelweiss adorned previous logos of 2021 and 2022. However, it has been leaked that the adidas logo will be the trefoil version, just like the 2024 Oktoberfest kit. We will provide further updates as they become available.
