Arsenal are in a strong position ahead of the summer transfer window.
Gone are the days where the Gunners were attempting to lure targets to N5 without the promise of UEFA Champions League football to offer, with Mikel Arteta on track to have Arsenal in the competition for a third successive season.
The north Londoners are currently second in the Premier League – and it would be a real shock if they fell out of the top four.

This helps Arsenal in the way of speaking to targets with assurance early on – confident in what they can promise – and the Gunners now expect Martin Zubimendi to move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
David Ornstein claims Arsenal believe Martin Zubimendi will arrive
During his Ask Ornstein Q&A (question and answer) session for The Athletic, the hugely reliable journalist stated that Arsenal “expect” the Spain international to join them.

When asked about rumours of Real Madrid joining the race for Zubimendi – who Kieran Tierney called “world class” – Ornstein said: “Without wanting to discredit the reporting of others, I personally haven’t heard this. Arsenal are expecting Zubimendi to join in the summer.
“I don’t know if that means it is completely done but for some time now they have been working on the basis that he will be coming in and a huge amount of work went into getting them to that point – while Edu was still in position as sporting director and subsequently when Jason Ayto took over on an interim basis.
“Andrea Berta will be starting soon as Edu’s permanent successor, so we will hopefully learn as bit more on that and other areas in due course.”
Zubimendi – who Liverpool tried to sign in the summer of 2024 – is expected to cost around £50m.
Martin Zubimendi looks likely to replace Jorginho
Recently, Jorginho said he would like to experience Brazilian football – amid reports that claimed the Italy international has already agreed to join Flamengo when his contract expires this summer.
With that situation in mind, talk of Arsenal expecting Zubimendi to join would strongly suggest the Spaniard is viewed as a replacement for the 33-year-old, who has only made seven Premier League starts this season.
