Aston Villa have some absolutely brilliant players on their books right now.
Jacob Ramsey is a top talent, while Ollie Watkins has been starring in the Premier League for a long time now.
Watkins has even been linked to Arsenal recently off the back of his fantastic performances.
Villa have an excellent core of English stars such as Watkins and Ramsey, but perhaps the jewel in the crown is Morgan Rogers.
Rogers has been shining for England over this international break, and speaking to TalkSPORT, Glenn Hoddle has hailed the attacker for his recent showings, going as far as to compare Rogers to Wayne Rooney due to his strength on the ball.

Hoddle spoke about Rogers and his performance for England.
The former England boss was very impressed by the Aston Villa star, claiming that he was excellent.
Going even further, Hoddle compared Rogers to Wayne Rooney due to his remarkable strength on the ball.
“I thought he was excellent, he has that little bit of guile about him. That turn of pace, my word, for his age, he has that body strength possibly like a Wayne Rooney when he was really young, he won’t get knocked off the ball and he believes in his own ability,” Hoddle said.

Rogers has enjoyed what has been a truly incredible season for Aston Villa, and while it may be a bit early to compare the 22-year-old to Wayne Rooney, there’s reason to believe Rogers could morph into one of England’s best players in years to come.
This young man has bags of potential, and in only his first full season at Premier League level, he’s making a massive impact.

Aston Villa still have plenty to play for this season. The Villans are into the quarter-finals of the Champions League, while they have an FA Cup quarter-final this weekend too – that’s before we even mention their push for Europe in the Premier League too.
This could be a truly historic season for Aston Villa, and Rogers’ brilliant form has been at the heart of the Midlands club’s remarkable rise over the past 18 months or so.
