Maybe Kimmich can give Dier some parenting advice, considering the younger man already has 4(!) kids.

Becoming a parent for the first time is a special feeling. One can argue that it is one of the most special feelings in the world. You know, before they have the chance to start driving you crazy. Most people take significant time off from work to help take care of their child and plan their schedules around having time for the baby.

But poor Eric Dier could not do so. Speaking in an interview with Bayern Munich club magazine Säbener51, as captured by @iMiaSanMia, Dier was asked how his life in England was different from that in German and went into detail about the difficulties his family had when moving to Germany: “I lead a rather quiet life with my family. We had a daughter; she was born in London just a few days after I moved to Bayern Munich. That’s probably the biggest change for me. I took my first steps as a father in Germany, not in England, taking the pram through the Englischer Garten.”

How must that have been like? Trying to master changing countries, swapping clubs to one as high profile as Bayern and preparing for the Bundesliga while learning how to care for the tiny bundle of joy that suddenly popped into his life must have been difficult for the former Tottenham Hotspur player. But, as with most parents, one would have to assume that it was a situation worth enduring for Dier.
