Tottenham and Manchester United are two teams who need to have big summer transfer windows.
Indeed, despite being two of the traditional big six, Spurs and United look likely to finish in the bottom-half in the Premier League this season.

Something has to change at both of these clubs, and with the summer transfer window coming up, there’s a chance for both teams to revamp.
Angel Gomes has been linked to Tottenham recently, and according to Ben Jacobs, speaking on Market Madness, Gomes could well be Spurs-bound this summer.
The journalist says that he expects Gomes to come to the Premier League this summer, claiming that Tottenham and Manchester United are the two teams most likely to win this race.

Angel Gomes likely to join Tottenham or Manchester United
Jacobs shared an update on Gomes’ future.
Gomes has been linked to West Ham too, but according to the journalist, Tottenham and Man Utd are the two teams most likely to get this deal done.
“And there’s a lot of value to be had. And clubs in the Premier League in particular are chasing Gomes,” Jacobs said.
“And my expectation is, number one, he moves to the Premier League. And number two, there’s a strong likelihood that either Tottenham or Manchester United win the race for his signature. With Manchester United, it would be a return.
“And there’s nothing that advanced yet. They’ve not made the player a formal offer. But we can’t discount Manchester United, who would see value.
“And Manchester United are going to have to find value because, of course, their finances are very tight. But they’re not advanced at this point. But they might be come summer.
“Then you have Tottenham, who are more advanced. And the player is open to a move. So Spurs could be the ones that win the race for his signature.”
Players to re-sign for Manchester United
Gomes could be headed back to Manchester United, just a few years after leaving the club.
The England international was on United’s books as a youngster, but he left on a free transfer.
Gomes explained, via the BBC, that he left United to improve as a player.
“When I left [Manchester United] it was more the idea to better myself as a player and person,” said Gomes.
“Being on the journey I went through I knew eventually I’d be able to create a pathway to be in this position I’m in now.
“It was difficult leaving the club I was in since six and heading into the unknown really for me personally.
“From then it’s been an uphill trajectory, but also with a lot of difficulties and difficult moments going through it, but being in this position now makes it all worth it.”
Gomes has certainly kicked on since leaving United – he’s now an ‘amazing’ player who has even received caps for England.
Of course, if Gomes is to return to Old Trafford, he wouldn’t’ be the first player to return to United for a second spell.
