Ant and Dec were amongst thousands of Newcastle fans celebrating their Carabao Cup victory on Saturday.
The Magpies’ 70-year wait for a domestic trophy was ended earlier in the month when they beat Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley.
Dan Burn and Alexander Isak were the goalscoring heroes on a historic afternoon that has continued their rise since being taken over in October 2021.
Newcastle swiftly announced their celebration plans for this weekend to allow fans the chance to delight in their glory once again.
An open-top bus parade began outside St. James’ Park where a sea of supporters were gathered to catch of glimpse of the squad.
Throughout the bus’ route towards Town Moor, thousands of other fans lined the streets of Newcastle.
The players took it in turns to lift the Carabao Cup above the crowd, and were joined by two familiar faces onboard.
Iconic television duo Ant and Dec are lifelong fans of the club and were in attendance at Wembley for the win over Liverpool.
They joined in with the celebrations and interviewed club captain Bruno Guimaraes, who was left shocked by the support.
“Wow, I did not expect that, I swear,” he said. “What a feeling, seeing many, many people happy like that.”
Guimaraes was shown love by an appreciative Ant, before he added: “I think everyone here deserves it.
“Like I said at the final, when I first signed for the club, I said I wanted to put my name in the club’s history, and I’m feeling this now!”

Club legend Alan Shearer was present for the bonanza, where he paid an emotional tribute to his late father, who passed away last year following a battle with cancer.
He remarked: “Yeah, unfortunately, my dad passed away last May. He was lucky enough to be at the final in ’69 [Inter-Cities Fairs Cup].
“I just wish he could have hung on for one more year just to see and sample this.
“But he would have been watching on and would’ve been as proud as I was.”
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe was also involved, and he was also in awe of the thousands who turned up.
“Unbelievable. I didn’t know what to expect today,” he said.

“This is really incredible, absolutely mind-blowing. You’ve got people hanging from lampposts, out of building, I hope everyone’s all right.”
Burn, who scored the first goal against Liverpool, was delighting in his local side’s triumph.
“Amazing. I don’t know what I was expecting, but it’s everything I ever dreamed of, honestly.
“I keep having to stop myself because I’m getting emotional!”
As for right winger Jacob Murphy, he simply stated: “It’s unbelievable. Oh my God!
“There are not too many words to describe this. It’s amazing!”
In total, it’s estimated that around 150,000 fans made their way to the Town Moor to continue the celebrations that will surely last into the night.
The Newcastle supporters, players and staff will be savouring the day before attention turns towards the latter part of the season.
Howe’s side face Brentford on home soil on Wednesday night ahead of clashes against Leicester and Manchester United.
Sitting sixth in the table and two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea with nine games to go, fans are starting to dream of Champions League qualification once again.
