Can a battered Bayern get the job done today?
Bayern Munich welcome St. Pauli to the wonderful Allianz Arena. Not so wonderful, however, are the long-term injuries to Alphonso Davies and Dayot Upamecano who are two of Bayern’s best defenders and key players. Vincent Kompany will have his work cut out for him as relegation-battling Pauli will do whatever it takes to avoid the drop.
Bayern will have one more Bundesliga game left to play (away to Augsburg) before they host Inter Milan in the Champions League Quarterfinals. Bayer Leverkusen is within touching distance of the Rekordmeister, who will look to pick up all three points.
Bayern sit atop the league with 62 points (19-5-2) while Pauli is 15th with 25 points (7-4-15).
It’s Bayern time.
