TBR Football can exclusively confirm that West Ham United are ready to sell Mohammed Kudus, a player who was previously linked with Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and others.
TBR Football is told that West Ham are already close to PSR limits, so to free up funds to allow Graham Potter and the recruitment team to re-work the squad, sales are required.
Kudus is seen as West Ham’s most sellable asset, with TBR Football also informed that the Hammers have made it clear that fellow star Jarrod Bowen is seen as ‘unsellable’.
Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle United and Aston Villa all previously looked at Kudus, one of West Ham’s best players.
In addition, the 24-year-old Ghana international is open to a move and he does have a release clause this summer worth £85million.
Only Saudi Pro League willing to get close to Mohammed Kudus clause
However, TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that no Premier League club would consider spending that much on Kudus.
Kudus in on the radar of the Saudi Pro League and they would consider getting close to his clause – something that no European club would do.
Kudus was on Arsenal’s radar in January and talks with intermediaries took place, but a summer move appears unlikely at this point.
Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa are also amongst those who have previously looked closely at Kudus – but they too would not get close to Kudus’s clause.
We are told that Kudus – who has made 72 appearances for West Ham – would be open to the idea of moving to the Saudi Pro League.
Michail Antonio sung Kudus’ praises earlier this season, telling Joy Sports that he is “unbelievable”.
He said: “The guy, some of the tricks he does in training, some of the tricks he does in games… you can’t get the ball off him!”
Who else West Ham could be willing to sell this summer
Aside from Kudus, TBR Football understands that Mexico international Edson Alvarez is another name that could be sold.
It is believed the likes of Monaco and Borussia Dortmund are all keen on the former Ajax man, who has made 68 appearances for West Ham since his move in 2023.
Meanwhile, Manchester United were linked with Alvarez last year.
