Sivasspor will be eager to claim a vital victory against Turkish Super Lig bottom side Adana Demirspor as they continue their battle to retain top-flight status next season.

The Sivas-based club sit in the bottom four, three points adrift of safety with just nine matches remaining.

We say: Sivasspor 2-1 Adana Demirspor

Adana conceded numerous chances in their narrow defeat to Samsunspor and could have been beaten by a greater margin on another day, and while Sivasspor’s last loss was largely down to wasteful finishing, they are expected to create ample opportunities here and convert them more effectively to claim all three points.

Trabzonspor will aim to build on their promising start under Fatih Tekke when they host Goztepe SK in round 29 of the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

The Black Sea Storm ended their away-day struggles in their first match under the new manager, and Tekke will now be eager to replicate that success in his first home game in charge.

We say: Trabzonspor 3-0 Goztepe SK

Before Tekke’s arrival, Trabzonspor’s season had largely depended on their strong home form, and we expect that to continue at Papara Park.

Given that they are up against a side struggling to capitalise on key moments in recent matches, the Black Sea Storm should have the upper hand in this encounter.

Samsunspor will aim to extend their unbeaten run in the Turkish Super Lig to four matches when they host Kasimpasa on Saturday.

The hosts are well on course to securing a top-three finish, currently holding a seven-point advantage over fourth-placed Besiktas with nine matches remaining.

We say: Samsunspor 2-0 Kasimpasa

As previously mentioned, Kasimpasa have struggled for cohesion in attack during their last three away matches, and this could prove decisive against a Samsunspor side that are adept at creating chances on home turf and are likely to convert a fair share of them.

Galatasaray will look to maintain their nine-point lead at the top of the Turkish Super Lig table when they face fierce rivals Besiktas in the Istanbul derby on Saturday.

Despite the current gulf between the two sides in the standings, the visitors will be eager to exact revenge after suffering a 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture.

We say: Besiktas 1-1 Galatasaray

This promises to be another fiercely contested Istanbul derby, with physicality likely to take precedence over intricate football, and with Besiktas desperate to avoid a third consecutive defeat, they are expected to adopt a combative approach, though Galatasaray’s superior quality should help them withstand the challenge, making a draw the most probable outcome.
