Jack Grealish has been speculated with signing for Tottenham Hotspur way before his time at Manchester City.
When the Englishman was first turning heads at Aston Villa, it seemed like he was destined to join Tottenham.
Spurs could now have a chance of throwing their name in the hat to sign the 29-year-old as Grealish could leave Manchester City this summer.
Jack Grealish is having the toughest season of his career, making just six starts in the Premier League this season and it looks like he is now surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium.
Tottenham were interested in signing Grealish during the winter transfer window but his huge contract coupled with how satisfied the player is living in the north-west were cited as reasons that made the move a difficult one to pull off.

But in the summer, Tottenham could perhaps take another stab at signing Grealish, with only two years left on his contract.
On the other hand, the three-time Premier League winner turns 30 in September this year and overall, his time at Manchester City has been a disappointment.
Jamie Carragher singled Grealish’s underwhelming displays out as his status at Manchester City has taken a dent since he helped them win the treble in 2023.
However, GiveMeSport have claimed that some people at Tottenham are in favour of a summer move for Grealish if Manchester City’s valuation is lower in comparison to what it has been over the past year.
Grealish’s wages could be a worry for Tottenham as well and that is another factor that could determine whether a move comes to fruition aside from the transfer fee itself.

What are Jack Grealish’s wages in comparison to Spurs’ highest-paid players?
The issue for Tottenham will undoubtedly be that Grealish earns £300,000-a-week (Sportrac) at City.
However, Spurs’ two highest-paid players in Heung-min Son and James Maddison earn £190,000-a-week and £170,000-a-week (Capology), which would mean that the treble-winner will either have to take a sizable wage cut or the Lilywhites will have to break their wage structure to make the transfer possible.
