Yang Min-Hyeok opened his account for Queens Park Rangers on Saturday as he came off the bench to score a consolation goal for the R’s.
It’s been a big week for Yang who made his debut for the South Korean national team over the recent international break, as he came on against Jordan.
The 18-year-old has now scored his first goal in English football, which Tottenham Hotspur will hope gives him the confidence to finish the season strong in the Championship.
Spurs supporters have been reacting to the teenager netting his first goal for the Championship club and were very impressed by his strike in the West Midlands.

Tottenham fans have been left impressed after seeing Yang-min Hyeok’s first goal in English football as he netted in QPR’s 3-1 defeat away at Stoke City.
The teenager came off the bench at half-time with the team 2-0 down, but despite watching his team concede a third, Yang responded with a brilliantly taken goal.
The Tottenham loanee collected the ball just outside the penalty area with his back to goal, before managing to turn and fire an effort across the area which flew past the Stoke City goalkeeper.
Yang spoke about how he is improving at QPR after being called up to the Korean national team for just the second time and his display against Stoke proved that.
Tottenham fans claim his goal reminded them of something his fellow countrymen and Spurs captain Son Heung-min could do and have taken to X to share their reactions.
One supporter said: “Really good finish. Hate how some people wrote him off as a shirt sale signing. Got really good feet and strikes the ball very cleanly.”
Another fan claimed: “Congrats to Yang who becomes the youngest Korean to score in England at 18. What an inspiration to Korean and Asian football.”
“Great goal Yang, Lovely footwork for the goal,” added another, whilst there was yet more comparisons to Son’s finishing: “It’s a very Sonny-esque finish there.”
“Tottenham’s on-loan winger Yang Min-hyeok just scored a lovely goal for QPR,” said another. Meanwhile, one fan compared him to Tyler Dibling, who is a Tottenham target: “He reminds me of Dibling in a way, could probably play as a number ten and right wing pretty well.”
Finally, another supporter said: “Yang Min-Hyeok just scored for QPR, hopefully, that will help him to finish the season strong and try to become a starter for Tottenham next season.”

Meanwhile, QPR manager Marti Cifuentes admitted he wished he had started the Spurs youngster against Stoke: “A lot of the decisions I made today, probably now if I could go back I would change some things. But it was based on Yang coming back from a very long trip from Korea.”
