TBR Football understand that Daniel Levy is working hard to persuade Fabio Paratici to return to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Nothing is yet agreed with Tottenham, however, Levy’s intervention means that the Italian director has not yet committed to AC Milan.
Paratici had been close to joining Milan as their new sporting director, as TBR Football reported last week, but that has now slowed down with Spurs entering the race.
Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani met again with Paratici over the weekend, and TBR Football sources suggest that the Italian giants are pushing hard to secure their top target.
However, other candidates remain in the mix for the job at San Siro, including former Lazio supremo Igli Tare and Atalanta’s chief Tony D’Amico.

Daniel Levy also held talks with Fabio Paratici last week in which the Tottenham Hotspur chairman told him to ‘return and finish what you started’, sources have told TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.
AC Milan believe they have an advantage as they have told him he would have full power of everything football-related along with them being open to him bringing Max Allegri back to the club.
Levy for his part does not need to sell it like Milan, as he wants Paratici to come and take control, as he did previously.
It is believed Paratici will make his choice by Easter. The Italian director’s 30-month ban from football ends on June 30, 2025.

Paratici would face another big summer at Tottenham, with the club likely to make a managerial change given the team’s performances under Ange Postecoglou.
Postecoglou has been told he needs to qualify for Tottenham at minimum, which looks increasingly unlikely given their league position and a tough European tie against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Andoni Iraola, Marco Silva and Thomas Frank are the leading contenders to take over at Spurs, however, that list could well change if Paratici returns.
