Arsenal welcomed Fulham at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night as they hoped to earn a win at home in the Premier League. The Gunners established their authority in the first half and got their noses ahead in the 37th minute thanks to Mikel Merino’s goal. Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
The home team controlled the game well in the second half and doubled their lead in the 73rd minute with the help of Bukayo Saka’s effort. Rodrigo Muniz grabbed a consolation goal for Fulham in injury-time as the match finished with the Gunners securing an impressive 2-1 win at the Emirates.

LB: Myles Lewis-Skelly – 6/10
He came back to defend when he could but struggled to make an impact in the Fulham half.
CM: Martin Odegaard – 6.5/10
Odegaard made some good chances for his teammates in the final third but failed to register a goal tonight.
CM: Thomas Partey – 7/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and made a couple of promising runs with the ball.
CM: Declan Rice – 6.5/10
The England international was a positive influence at both ends of the field and was not shy of having a strike at goal.
RW: Ethan Nwaneri – 7.5/10
He caused a lot of headaches for his marker and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
ST: Mikel Merino – 8/10
The Spaniard came back to defend when needed and managed to score the opening goal in the 37th minute.
LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 7.5/10
He was a real menace in the final third and ended the match with an assist to his name.
