Well, it’s not good news per se…

According a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich stars Leon Goretzka and Kingsley Coman did not practice due to injury, while Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise were given the day off to rest:

Leon Goretzka (back problems) and Kingsley Coman (foot irritation) did not train with the team today. Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise were given a rest.

Min-jae still ailing

According to Tz journalist Philipp Kessler (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae is still battling Achilles tendonitis, but now his back is also bothered by a sickness and a sore back (Job had an easier run of play, am I right?):

Kim Min-jae’s Achilles tendon feels a bit better, but it’s definitely not fully healed. Kim played against St. Pauli with a sore throat and a strong cough, which is now causing him back problems. He actually needs some more time off to recover. Kompany and his coaching staff are in a dilemma: should Dier and Stanišić start, or should Kim continue to play through his fitness problems, risking another potential extended absence. To relieve some of the pressure on the defense, Kompany could use João Palhinha in defensive midfield in the next few games.

Neuer running

Bayern Munich issued a release on Manuel Neuer, which indicated that the goalkeeper was back running:

Manuel Neuer was able to complete a running session once again on Monday morning. The 39-year-old goalkeeper recently had to stop training after suffering a reaction in his calf muscles as he worked his way back from the strain he suffered in Bayern’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Bayer Leverkusen. The club captain has now been able to run around again in the next step towards his comeback.
