Is the season in danger?
Even for Bayern Munich standards, the injury gods have been particularly harsh to the Bavarians of late.
Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano, Tarek Buchmann (remember him?), and Hiroki Itō are all out for the long-term; while Manuel Neuer, Leon Goretzka, Kim Min-jae, Aleksandar Pavlović, and Kingsley Coman are all battling one ailment or another.
It’s bad — there is no denying that. Some would argue that Bayern Munich is teetering and that its season is on the brink.
