Liverpool finally makes its return to action later today as it begins its charge toward the Premier League title in the Merseyside derby against Everton.
Having returned from the international break, the Reds will be eager to put their defeats in the Champions League and Carabao Cup final behind them as they turn their attentions back to league matters. Having seen Arsenal narrow the gap on Tuesday, Arne Slot’s men will be keen to restore their 12-point advantage with just eight games remaining after today.
Everton though has shown it will be no pushover, having rescued a dramatic draw against Liverpool back in February. Overcome their rivals today though, and the title will move even closer into view for Liverpool.
