Pep Guardiola’s side still has work to do if it is to secure a spot in next season’s Champions League. The defending champions are currently sitting in fifth, which may be enough to qualify for Europe’s top table, although they won’t want to leave anything to chance.

Leicester, meanwhile, needs a minor miracle, with Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side sitting 12 points from safety and looking destined to return to the Championship. The Foxes manager is coming under increasing pressure, and may well need a victory here to have any chance of keeping his team up.

Here’s all you need to know in order to be able to watch the match…

What time is kick-off?

The game kicks off at 7:45pm in the UK, which is 11:45am Pacific Time and 2:45pm Eastern Time in the US. Darren England is the referee for the clash at the Etihad Stadium, with James Bell on VAR duty. The two sides last met back in December, when goals from Savinho and Erling Haaland secured a 2-0 win for the defending champions.

Is the match on TV?

Fans in the UK will not be able to watch the game live on TV, with Sky Sports in stead showing Liverpool’s game against Everton in the Merseyside derby.

In the US though, the game can be watched live on the USA Network, while it can be streamed via NBC.com.

Where can I catch the highlights?

Highlights from the game will be uploaded to the Sky Sports Premier League channel on YouTube shortly after full-time. Fans in the UK will also be able to catch extended highlights on Match of the Day, which is scheduled to be shown at 10:40pm on BBC One and will include highlights from this week’s other games, including Liverpool vs Everton.

Early team news

City has been hit by the news Erling Haaland could miss the remainder of the league campaign, having picked up an injury during the FA Cup win over Bournemouth. Pep Guradiola has confirmed the striker is hoped to be able to return in time for this summer’s Club World Cup.

Meanwhile, Manuel Akanji, John Stones and Nathan Ake all remain sidelined, as do long-term absentees Rodri and Oscar Bobb.

As for Leicester, the visitors will be without Abdul Fatawu, who is set to miss the remainder of the campaign after tearing his ACL back in November. Ricardo Pereira is a doubt, having missed the clash with Manchester United just before the international break.
