This summer transfer window is going to be a very exciting one at the top of the Premier League.
Indeed, pretty much every team in the traditional big six has work to do.
Arsenal need to catch Liverpool, Liverpool need to potentially replace three departing star players, Man City need to rebuild, Chelsea need to consolidate, while Tottenham and Manchester United need to rip it up and start again.
Strikers will be a big talking point this summer, that’s for sure.
Arsenal need a striker – the Gunners bid for Ollie Watkins in January, while Liverpol may be in the market for a new number nine as Darwin Nunez is set to leave this summer.
Alexander Isak has been linked to Arsenal and Liverpool, and according to Joleon Lescott, speaking on The Dressing Room Podcast, Isak may be more likely to sign for Liverpool this summer than Arsenal.

Alexander Isak more likely to join Liverpool than Arsenal
Lescott spoke with Carlton Cole about the Newcastle striker and where he could end up.
Lescott says he’d be shocked if Isak ended up at Arsenal, claiming that he thinks Liverpool will come in and swoop for the £60m star.
“I’ve heard that Arsenal have a massive kitty to spend this summer,” Cole said.
“That doesn’t matter. He’s not going to Arsenal. Arsenal would be surprising. I think Liverpool come in, I think Liverpool come in. If I was Liverpool I would try and sign him,” Lescott said.
“Salah isn’t going to score 30 goals every season. They need someone to share that load, they need someone to get 15 or 20.”
What Arne Slot said about Alexander Isak
Liverpool are looking at signing Isak this summer, and Arne Slot has made it very clear that he’s a fan of Isak.
Indeed, Slot hailed Isak ahead of last month’s Carabao Cup final, describing the striker as an unbelievable player.
“Looking at Newcastle, we played them twice, in the last game Isak wasn’t involved, the game before he was involved. He’s such an important player for them and an unbelievable threat, he has the speed that the attackers of PSG had yesterday as well, and they were more than I would’ve liked in front of Alisson in the last two games we played them,” Slot said.
Of course, Isak would make Liverpool pay in the cup final as he scored the decisive goal on the day as Newcastle lifted their first piece of silverware for 70 years.
