Is Newcastle vs Brentford on TV tonight? Eddie Howe’s cup heroes aiming to boost Champions League hopes

Newcastle have been living the dream over the last week, but they’re going to have to refocus for the visit of Brentford this evening.

Eddie Howe and his squad became club heroes the last time they played, winning their first trophy in 70 years at Wembley.

The Magpies beat Liverpool to lift the Carabao Cup and this game comes only a few days after an incredible celebration parade.

That was an unforgettable moment but Howe will want his team to get minds back in check for the Premier League run-in.

Newcastle can boost their Champions League hopes with a win over Brentford, potentially jumping up into the top four, depending on other results.

The Bees will be out to boost their own chances of European qualification too, as they sit four points of a spot in the top eight.

Is Newcastle vs Brentford on TV?

Unfortunately, this game is not being broadcast live on TV in the UK.

There are six fixtures in this evening’s Premier League schedule, with only one chosen for broadcast.

And that is the Merseyside derby at Anfield as Liverpool host bitter rivals Everton.

It means Newcastle vs Brentford is among the games not being shown on TV, just like Arsenal’s win over Fulham last night.

Fortunately for Toon fans, their next game will be broadcast live as their trip to Leicester on Monday, which is also live on talkSPORT, is going to be shown on Sky Sports.

Brentford’s next match on TV will be on Saturday, April 12, as their tough clash away at Arsenal will be shown on Sky Sports too.
