Barcelona faced off against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win in the second leg of their Cope del Rey semifinal tie. The Catalan club made a good start to the contest and scored the opening goal in the 27th minute thanks to Ferran Torres’ effort. Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

The Catalan outfit defended their narrow advantage well in the second half and secured a hard-fought 1-0 win away from home. Barcelona ended up winning the cup tie 5-4 on aggregate.
