Bournemouth lineup vs. West Ham: Predicted XI for Premier League clash

2 Min Read

Bournemouth could be without up to five players for Saturday’s Premier League clash with West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Enes Unal (knee), Marcus Tavernier (ankle) and Luis Sinisterra (hamstring) all remain sidelined with injuries, while Justin Kluivert (unspecified) and Julian Araujo (thigh) are both doubtful and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.

The potential absence of Kluivert, who missed the 2-1 home defeat to Ipswich Town in midweek, could see Alex Scott retain his place in the number 10 role behind striker Evanilson, who scored his seventh Premier League goal of the season last time out.

Antoine Semenyo has failed to score in each of his last eight appearances for the Cherries, but he is expected to continue on the left wing as David Brooks battles with Dango Ouattara for a place on the opposite flank.

Tyler Adams could be recalled to partner Ryan Christie in centre-midfield if Andoni Iraola opts to use Lewis Cook at right-back ahead of Adam Smith, who was taken off at half time against Ipswich.

Marcos Senesi is fit and available to compete with Illia Zabarnyi and in-demand Dean Huijsen for a start at centre-back, while Milos Kerkez is expected to continue at left-back as Kepa Arrizabalaga retains his spot between the sticks.

Bournemouth possible starting lineup: Arrizabalaga; Cook, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Christie, Adams; Brooks, Scott, Semenyo; Evanilson
