Arsenal beat Fulham on Tuesday, but it wasn’t all positive at the Emirates on Tuesday evening.
Indeed, while most of the focus was on Bukayo Saka’s triumphant return from injury, there was another issue that arose on Tuesday as Gabriel Magalhaes went down with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.
Speaking to Mail Sport on TikTok, the defender’s wife has now given an update on his injury.
Gabriel’s wife as at the premiere of Amazon Prime’s new series of ‘Married to the Game’ but she wasn’t joined by her husband as she noted he was with doctors undergoing a series of scans.

Gabriel Magalhaes’ wife shares injury update
Gabriel’s wife shared an update on the Arsenal centre-back’s injury.
According to Gabrielle Figueredo, the defender is currently having scans to help diagnose his issue as he faces a race against time to be fit against Real Madrid.
Mikel Arteta is concerned about Gabriel’s injury, while early speculation suggests that Gabriel could miss the Madrid tie.
“He got an injury yesterday and that’s why he’s not here today with me. He would love to be here, I would love him to be here, but yesterday he got the news and got the injury, now he’s with the doctor and he’s having scans. We never expected something like this, all we can do is bet together and give assurance to each other, that’s what I will do when I get home today,” She said.
Arsenal’s record without Gabriel Magalhaes
Gabriel Magalhaes is one of the most reliable players in the Arsenal squad, but the Brazilian has had a few spells out of the team in recent years.
Indeed, since the 2021/22 season, Gabriel has had a handful of notable absences, and, often, Arsenal have struggled in those matches.

Arsenal clearly aren’t at their best when Gabriel is out of action, and they will face a serious uphill battle if they want to beat Real Madrid in the Champions League without the Brazilian.
Ian Wright is worried about Jakub Kiwior heading into the Madrid game, and when you’re coming up against the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr, it’s easy to understand why Wright is slightly concerned about this situation.
Fingers crossed there’s some good news to come about Gabriel in the near future.
