Arsenal need a significant summer of recruitment to bridge the gap on Liverpool.
Many felt it was Arsenal’s year to win the Premier League title this season after pushing Manchester City close in the last two campaigns, although Arne Slot has blown Mikel Arteta away to put Liverpool 12 points clear at the top of the table.
If Arsenal fail to win their next two games, Liverpool can even win the title as early as April 20th against Leicester – which would mean the Gunners have to give the Reds a Guard of Honour at Anfield in May.

Martin Zubimendi is expected to join Arsenal to improve the midfield department – a player Liverpool tried to sign in the summer of 2024.
Arsenal also want Milos Kerkez – but there is a problem.
Arsenal believe Milos Kerkez will join Liverpool
A story from Give Me Sport now states that Arsenal have held internal discussions about signing the Bournemouth No.3 this summer, with Kieran Tierney joining Celtic when his contract expires in June.
However, it is said that sources feel the Hungarian is moving to Anfield this summer.
That reinforces our own information. TBR Football understand Liverpool have opened talks with Bournemouth over a £50m deal for Kerkez, with all parties expecting an agreement to be reached.
It would come as no surprise to see the Hungary international seal a lucrative move to Anfield, having shone at left-back for Bournemouth this season with two goals and six assists in 30 Premier League appearances.
Kerkez also knows Dominik Szoboszlai from the Hungary national team, which should help the 21-year-old settle on Merseyside.
Arne Slot wants to sell one Liverpool player to make space for Milos Kerkez
Liverpool already have Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas in the left-back department, so some may be wondering where Kerkez would fit.

However, TBR Football understand Slot wants Tsimikas to be sold, after handing the Greece international just five Premier League starts this season.
The plan is for Liverpool to have Robertson and Kerkez battling for the left-back role, before the latter eventually succeeds the Scotland international, who turned 31 in March.
