Tottenham Hotspur faced off against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they looked to secure a victory on their travels in the Premier League. Spurs made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.

Angelos Postecoglu’s men made a poor start to the second half as they conceded the opening goal in the 50th minute when Enzo Fernandez scored with a good header. The North London club failed to come up with a response and crashed to a lackluster 1-0 loss in the London derby.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player fared during the match against the Blues.

GK: Guglielmo Vicario – 7.5/10

Vicario didn’t hesitate to clear the danger when needed and made a few solid saves at the back.

RB: Djed Spence – 6.5/10

He did his fair share of defending and made two good runs with the ball on the right flank.

CB: Cristian Romero – 6.5/10

Romero performed his defensive duties well but failed to keep a clean sheet tonight.

CB: Micky van de Ven – 6.5/10

He made his fair share of clearances when defending inside his half.

LB: Destiny Udogie – 6.5/10

He came back to defend when he could but struggled to influence the game going forward.

CM: Lucas Bergvall – 6.5/10

Bergvall anchored the midfield well and got himself into some promising areas in the final third.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 6.5/10

He offered solid protection for his teammates at the back and was accurate with his passing.

CM: James Maddison – 6/10

Maddison created one good opportunity in the final third but failed to be a goal threat.

RW: Wilson Odobert – 6/10

He managed to shine at times but never looked like he would find the back of the net.

ST: Dominic Solanke – 6/10

Solanke was left frustrated for most of the game. There was no goal for him tonight.

LW: Heung-min Son – 6/10

He struggled to be effective on the left flank and was fortunate to last the whole game.

Substitutes:

CM: Pape Matar Sarr – 6/10

He added some energy to Tottenham’s midfield.

LW: Brennan Johnson – 6.5/10

Johnson made two decent chances on the offensive third of the pitch.

RB: Pedro Porro – N/A

ST: Mathys Tel – N/A
