Arsenal dropped further points in the Premier League title race on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal have been tipped to sign four players in the summer transfer window which will transform Mikel Arteta’s squad.

On Saturday afternoon, the Gunners’ fading hopes of winning the Premier League took another blow after they were held by Everton.

In front of a packed crowd inside Goodison Park, Arsenal took the lead through Leandro Trossard but Iliman Ndiaye equalised from 12 yards four minutes into the second half.

Eventually, the match ended 1-1, meaning Liverpool have a 11-point lead at the top of the table before thier match against Fulham on Sunday.

Arteta will now likely put all his eggs in the Champions League basket, with a mouth-watering quarter-final tie against Real Madrid on Tuesday night.

Looking ahead to the summer transfer window, it has been said that Arsenal have been tipped to sign four players.

Speaking on TNT Sports, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague said: “Arsenal are going to have to think of five replacements to the players that are either leaving or finishing contracts, and they’re going to have to get three or four players that go straight into the line-up.

“I would say a left winger, a centre-forward, a holding midfielder. We heard the names, Martin Zubimendi, Viktor Gyokeres perhaps, certainly Benjamin Sesko or Nico Williams – those are the names they will try to get.”

He added: “Berta is going to have to be creative. Arsenal are not here with the intention of spending £200m or £300m. They just want to be creative with what they’ve got and what they need.

“They don’t have a huge amount of money they can use. So they’re going to have to sell as well. Arteta has said he’s the biggest transfer window for a long while and having Berta next to him, in a partnership with him, will definitely help.”

After facing off against Madrid in the Champions League, Arsenal will be back in Premier League action next Saturday when they take on Brentford at the Emirates Stadium.
