Eric Dier and Kim Min-jae are learning to work together…
Bayern Munich center-back Eric Dier’s role on the squad has increased in importance over the past few weeks — and the veteran is embracing the challenge.
Dier played a key role in helping Bayern Munich limit FC Augsburg chances during the 3-1 victory for the Bavarians.
With Dayot Upamecano out for what could be the rest of the season, Dier says that he does not feel any additional pressure.
“I don’t feel [pressure], for me it’s just about working hard and preparing myself everyday. The game is just a consequence of my preparation. That’s how I try to live my life,” Dier told ESPN correspondent Archie Rhind-Tutt.
So far so good for Dier, but the task will be incredibly more difficult on Tuesday against Inter Milan in the Champions League. Knowing that, expect Dier to put in some extra hours with his prep work.
