For the first time in four weeks, we finally have a Premier League weekend involving Liverpool. The Reds did make their much-anticipated return against Everton on Wednesday night, with Diogo Jota’s goal sealing all three points, but now it’s all eyes on Craven Cottage.
Well, not quite. Before Arne Slot’s side focuses on the trip to Fulham, there will be plenty of supporters keeping an eye on goings on at Goodison Park this afternoon. Second-place Arsenal faces Everton in the early kick-off and given the Toffees have lost one of their last 10 in the league, an upset doesn’t seem farfetched.
Elsewhere, Slot has responded to Michael Owen’s questions on whether “just” winning the Premier League would be considered a disappointing campaign and has discussed the futures of Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota.
In transfer news, Harvey Elliott’s asking price has reportedly been revealed, while Alexander Isak’s preference in the summer market should encourage Liverpool supporters.
