Real Madrid are reportedly considering moving for Sevilla‘s Juanlu Sanchez during this summer’s transfer window.
The 21-year-old has been an important player for Sevilla during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring five goals and registering four assists in 27 appearances in all competitions, including four goals and three assists in 24 league outings.
Juanlu only has a contract at Estadio Ramon until June 2026, with his deal including a release clause of €40m (£34m), and there is currently a host of speculation surrounding the Spaniard’s future.
Real Madrid are said to be long-term admirers of the Spain Under-21s international, and according to Fichajes, Carlo Ancelotti‘s side are considering launching a bid during this summer’s transfer window.
The report claims that Los Blancos want to further boost their options down the right despite the fact that Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to arrive on a free transfer when his contract at Liverpool expires.

Real Madrid ‘considering summer move for Juanlu’
Juanlu has been with Sevilla since 2015, progressing through their youth system before debuting for the first team in 2021, and he has since featured 66 times for the club, scoring six goals and registering seven assists.
The Spaniard has operated in a number of different positions for Sevilla this term, featuring as an attacking midfielder, a central midfielder, a right-back and even a second striker, playing in that role against Real Madrid back in December.
When starting as a central midfielder, Juanlu has managed four goals and two assists in 10 appearances, and his versatility is believed to make him an even more attractive proposition for Real Madrid.
It is unlikely that Juanlu would be a starter at Los Blancos, but his ability to cover a number of positions would make him very valuable, and he said to be viewed as a player with serious potential.

Will Vazquez leave Real Madrid this summer?
Juanlu could be viewed as a replacement for Vazquez, with the 33-year-old potentially leaving Los Blancos this summer.
The Spaniard has again been an important player for the capital giants, making 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice and registering six assists, but he only has a contract at Bernabeu until the end of the campaign.
Dani Carvajal could also be back to full fitness before the end of the season, and with Alexander-Arnold also set to arrive, there might not be room in the squad for Vazquez next term despite his excellent service to the club.
