Two sides with identical starts to the 2025 Major League Soccer season will lock horns on Saturday evening when Charlotte FC and Nashville SC face off at the Bank of America Stadium.
Off the back of respective defeats last time out, the teams will both head into this weekend’s encounter in need of a lift as they look to get April off to a perfect start.
We say: Charlotte FC 2-1 Nashville SC
There is not much separating Charlotte and Nashville heading into this one, and Saturday’s affair could easily swing either way.
That said, we can see the home side doing enough to get the job done at the end of the 90 minutes.

Major League Soccer champions Los Angeles Galaxy will be aiming to kick-start their season in Saturday’s visit to the America First Field to face off against Real Salt Lake.
Albeit to a much less disastrous extent, the home side have also made an underwhelming start to the new campaign and will be keen to pick up a much-needed win this weekend.
We say: Real Salt Lake 1-1 Los Angeles Galaxy
Neither team can head into Saturday’s matchup with confidence in their ranks as two struggling teams seek a bit of redemption.
We are anticipating a share of the spoils at the sound of the final whistle.

Atlanta United aim for consecutive MLS victories on Saturday night when they welcome Dallas to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in gameweek seven.
Ronny Deila’s men ended a four-match sequence without maximum points in the previous round’s seven-goal thriller against New York City FC, but they welcome an in-form opponent seeking to secure a third consecutive triumph for the first time since 2020.
We say: Atlanta United 2-2 Dallas
While Dallas are unbeaten on their travels, Atlanta’s home results have been mixed, as highlighted by two wins, a draw and a loss in four.
Nonetheless, that defeat was an 89th-minute concession against Inter Miami, a team with superior individual quality to Dallas.
Given that the Bulls have scored in every away match and Atlanta’s inclination for end-to-end affairs, Saturday’s encounter could end in a tie with both sides finding the net.

Fresh off the back of securing their first win of the 2025 MLS campaign, New England Revolution journey to the TQL Stadium to face FC Cincinnati on Sunday morning.
The Orange and Blue have failed to win any of their previous five competitive home games against New England Revolution and will head into the weekend looking to end this poor six-year run.
We say: FC Cincinnati 2-1 New England Revolution
Buoyed by their hard-fought win over New York Red Bulls, New England Revolution will head into the weekend with renewed confidence as they look to put together a fine run of form. However, Cincinnati have been tough to crack on home turf this season and we are backing them to come away with maximum points.

In a matchup between one of two undefeated teams in the Eastern Conference of Major League Soccer and one of two winless sides out East, the Columbus Crew welcome CF Montreal to Lower.com Field on Saturday.
A 2-1 come-from-behind victory over DC United lifted the Crew up to third in the conference, while Montreal were denied yet another victory, playing to a 1-1 draw versus the Chicago Fire, keeping them at the bottom of the East table.
We say: Columbus Crew 2-0 CF Montreal
The Crew can win matches several different ways, while Montreal are still getting a feel for one another and struggling to find that killer instinct.

Still reeling from their heartbreaking loss in the last outing, New York Red Bulls welcome Chicago Fire for matchday seven of Major League Soccer, determined to provide the perfect response.
The Red Bulls suffered a last-gasp 2-1 defeat against New England Revolution last weekend, marking their second loss of the campaign.
We say: New York Red Bulls 2-2 Chicago Fire
With the Red Bulls strong at home and Chicago Fire thriving on the road, this promises to be an intriguing contest with plenty of goal action, though, with both sides evenly matched, a draw appears the most likely outcome.

Orlando City will be looking to secure a third win on the bounce for the first time since October when they visit Subaru Park to go head to head with Philadelphia Union on Sunday morning.
Both sides have already faced off this season, with the Union claiming a comfortable 4-2 victory in February’s season opener courtesy of goals from Daniel Gazdag, Mikael Uhre and a brace from 27-year-old Tai Baribo.
We say: Philadelphia Union 2-2 Orlando City
After stumbling into the new campaign, Orlando City appear to have hit their stride and will head into the weekend in search of a third win on the spin. Home advantage gives Philadelphia Union an extra edge here but we predict Orlando will do just enough to force a share of the spoils.

Seeking to climb to the top of the Western Conference standings, Austin FC go head to head with Portland Timbers at the Q2 Stadium on Sunday morning.
The Timbers have won each of their last three visits to Texas since September 2022 and will be looking to extend this fine run as they eye a third win on the bounce for the first time since June.
We say: Austin FC 3-1 Portland Timbers
Austin and Portland Timbers have put together a fine run of results of late and we anticipate an action-packed contest at the Q2 Stadium. The Timbers have struggled to impose themselves on the road, where they are on a run of just one win from their last nine league games since June, and fancy Estevez’s side to come away with the desired result.

Houston Dynamo will be hoping to secure their first MLS win of the season this Sunday when they play host to Los Angeles FC at Shell Energy Stadium.
After six games in the regular season, the hosts are second-bottom in the Western Conference with just two points, while the visitors are in eighth place with nine points.
We say: Houston Dynamo 2-2 Los Angeles FC
Houston Dynamo have made their worst start to an MLS season and have suffered three consecutive home defeats already this term, conceding two or more goals in each of those matches.
LAFC, on the other hand, have picked up nine points in six games, but they are still some way from their best and have already shipped eight goals on their travels this term. Given these teams’ form to date, we feel this one will end level at the final whistle.

Sporting KC will go out again in search of their first win in the 2025 MLS season against St Louis at the Children Mercy Park this weekend with a new manager at the helm.
The hosts are rooted to the bottom of the standings with one point after six fixtures, while the visitors occupy the ninth position of the Western Conference after claiming eight points from the same number of matches.
Sporting Kansas have struggled for consistency this season, and they will be desperate to get off the mark this weekend, while the visiting will be looking to get back to winning ways. However, we predict that both sides will play out a 1-1 draw.

The Colorado Rapids can knock the Vancouver Whitecaps out of first place on Saturday when the two sides clash in MLS action at BC Place Stadium.
After a 0-0 draw with Toronto, the Caps are just two points clear of the Burgundy Boys for first in the Western Conference, with the latter defeating Charlotte FC 2-0 in their previous affair.
We say: Vancouver Whitecaps 1-1 Colorado Rapids
As consistent as the Whitecaps have been so far this year, fatigue could be a factor against a Colorado side brimming with confidence on the road.

San Diego will be at the Snapdragon Stadium to welcome Seattle Sounders for their matchday seven MLS clash at the weekend.
The hosts come into this fixture off the back of a 3-2 victory over Los Angeles FC, while the visitors will aim to snap a three-game winless streak in the league.
We say: San Diego 2-1 Seattle Sounders
San Diego are enjoying a dream start to their MLS campaign, while the visitors have struggled for consistency. On the evidence of their respective performances, we predict that the home side will earn a 2-1 win.
