Heung-Min Son names N’Golo Kante as his toughest opponent
Son named Kante as his toughest opponent in the Premier League.
The Spurs star says that he used to find it really hard to play against Kante, noting that he thinks the Frenchman is an underrated player who never really got the credit he deserves.
“I kind of found it really hard playing against Kante. He was actually everywhere. He covers a lot of ground, an underrated kind of performance, you don’t get much headlines or spotlight, everyone gets a spotlight when they’re scoring goals, but he was so tough when he was back at Chelsea,” Son said.

As Son says, Kante was the type of player who would suffocate any opposition attack, and it appears as though he always had Son’s number.
Son also claimed that Kante was underrated, but Kante did get plenty of credit for his performances.
Indeed, the Frenchman won the PFA Player of the Year award back in 2017, while Kante has received plenty of praise from his peers over the years as well.
Son certainly knows how good Kante was, naming him as his toughest opponent ever in the Premier League.
