The list of unavailable players keeps growing.

Bayern Munich away against FC Augsburg in the Bavarian derby. Good.

Jamal Musiala got hurt in doing so. Bad.

It is hard to believe that, just 10 days ago, it seemed that all of Bayern’s players had escaped the international break unscathed and the team was going to go with near full strength into the Champions League tie with Inter Milan. Then the news about Dayot Upamecano and Alphonso Davies’ injuries came out and the bad news kept piling on.

Musiala’s injury was the latest of the injuries, which prompted star striker Harry Kane to address it.

“It’s disappointing to see,” the England captain said, via @iMiaSanMia. “We didn’t have a good week with all the injuries. Jamal is an important player for us so we’ll miss him for how long he will be out for. Hopefully it’s not as bad as it looked.”

Kane sure is good at understating things. No, it really was not a good week for injuries.
