A Wolves fan has shared a video of the brilliant moment that Andre grabbed his phone to film his side’s jubilant celebrations against Ipswich.
The Midlands outfit went a long way to securing their Premier League survival with a 2-1 win at Portman Road on Saturday.
Liam Delap opened the scoring for the Tractor Boys, before Pablo Sarabia leveled the scoring.
Pushing for the win, Wolves grabbed all three points when Jorgen Strand Larsen found the back of the net in the 84th minute, leading to jubilant celebrations in the away end.
Among the stars celebrating with Strand Larsen and the Wolves fan was Andre, who had a novel way of marking the occasion.
Spotting a fans’ phone in the celebrations, the Brazilian midfielder grabbed the phone and filmed himself celebrating wildly with his teammates before giving the phone back.
Eagle-eyed supporters spotted what had happened and prayed to see the footage.
Just 45 minutes after full-time, the supporter in question took to social media with Andre’s selfie and footage of the celebration.
Tagging his side’s official X account, Wolves fan Max Harris wrote: “It was my phone (that) Andre had.”
Supporters couldn’t hide their delight at seeing the video, with one writing: “Incredible,” with a crying with laughter emoji.
Another said: “One of, if not, the greatest photo of this season. Well done.”
Meanwhile a third simply summed it up by writing: “Truly epic!”
Now 12 points above the relegation zone with seven matches left, Wolves boss Vitor Pereira expressed his delight over the comeback victory.
Speaking after the match he said: “We prepared to come and win and I’m very happy for the players, for the club and especially for the supporters.
“The first half was not in the way we wanted. The pace and the pressing was not what I asked.
“Second half we changed tactically and I think we started to create problems with what we did.
“(There was) better quality with possession and (we) created chances to score and I think we deserved to win the game.
“I said today we need to show how committed we are, we need to show we are a team and the substitutes needed to show the spirit. The players from the bench I think played very well.”
