Chelsea are keeping tabs on the progress of Inter Milan defender Yann Aurel Bisseck, TBR Football can exclusively reveal.
24-year-old Bisseck joined Inter from Danish side Aarhus in 2023, a deal that now appears something of a bargain considering Chelsea’s interest.
In total Bisseck has made 33 appearances for Simone Inzaghi in all competitions this season, a centre-back the Italian manager has consistently praised.
The German has predominantly played centrally in Inzaghi’s 3-4-3 but is also able to operate as a wing-back when needed.
And given that Chelsea are in the market for a new central defender to bolster Enzo Maresca’s squad this summer, Bisseck has caught their scouts eye.
Inter Milan’s Yann Bisseck is now on Chelsea’s radar
That being said, TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Bisseck’s impressive performances this season have caught the attention of a number of Inter’s rivals.
Chelsea are keen to sign a new centre-back in a few months time and have been doing their work on options.

Marc Guehi remains Chelsea’s top target by most estimations, a defender who is thriving for Crystal Palace and England.
However, Todd Boehly’s side have been assessing the market and TBR has learnt that Bisseck is a player who has emerged on the club’s radar.
Bisseck was handed his Germany debut last month and actually signed a new long-term deal at the San Siro in November – but that hasn’t deterred Chelsea’s interest.
Simone Inzaghi praises ‘very good’ Yann Bisseck
Of course, it is worth mentioning that Bisseck hasn’t always been a firm starter for Inter this season, he also often makes an impact from the bench too.
However, when speaking last November, Inzaghi stressed about how highly he rated Bisseck, even if he doesn’t start every game.
Following Bisseck playing 90 minutes in Inter’s 1-0 win against Arsenal in the Champions League that month, Inzaghi said: “Bisseck was very good, but he doesn’t have to prove anything to me.
“I know how good he is, and he has played two great games against teams like City and Arsenal this season.
“His only problem is that we have other great defenders so he cannot play all the time, but I know how good he is.”
It remains to be seen how expensive the defender would prove for Chelsea should they make a move this summer.
But it’s unlikely to be a quiet summer at Stamford Bridge either way and Chelsea are targeting another European gem following their doubts about Jadon Sancho.
