Manchester City faced off against Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier this evening as they focused on earning a good result on the road in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a bright start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.

The visitors failed to take their chances in the second half. Man City ended up earning a 0-0 draw away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player performed during the clash against the Red Devils.

GK: Ederson – 7/10

The Brazilian keeper made a couple of solid saves at the back and secured an important clean sheet at Old Trafford.

RB: Matheus Nunes – 6.5/10

He performed his defensive responsibilities well and made one inviting chance going forward.

CB: Ruben Dias – 7.5/10

Dias put his foot through the ball when he could and did enough to keep a clean sheet.

CB: Josko Gvardiol – 7.5/10

He cleared his lines when needed and made one decent run with the ball.

CDM: Mateo Kovacic – 7/10

Kovacic anchored the midfield well and had a couple of bright moments in the final third.

CM: Bernardo Silva – 7.5/10

He came back to defend when he could and also managed to cause some problems for the opposition defenders.

CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 6/10

Gundogan retained possession well at the centre of the park and was replaced in the 73rd minute.

CAM: Kevin de Bruyne – 6/10

He didn’t hesitate to have a strike at goal but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.

ST: Phil Foden – 6/10

Foden struggled to be a threat in front of the opponent’s goal.

ST: Omar Marmoush – 7/10

He generated a lot of power with his shot attempts but there was no goal for him.

Substitutes:

LW: Jeremy Doku – 6.5/10

Doku made one good run with the ball.

CM: Rico Lewis – 6/10

His impact on the game was minimal.
