The Premier League title is well within Liverpool’s sight, and the Reds can take another big step toward being crowned champions at Fulham later.
Arne Slot could well be just a couple of games away from winning his piece of silverware at Anfield. With Arsenal being held to a 1-1 draw at Everton on Saturday, Liverpool is now a maximum of 11 points away from the title, and it might only need two more wins if the Gunners keep dropping points.
A win in London today would put the Reds on the verge of a 20th English title, putting them level with rivals Manchester United. Fulham though represents arguably their toughest test this month, with Slot facing some big decisions following the Merseyside derby win on Wednesday.
Alisson Becker missed that game as he continued his recovery from concussion, having returned from international duty with Brazil early. Liverpool is being cautious with the protocols in place, so it might well be another week until we see the No.1 back in action, meaning Caoimhin Kelleher might retain his place in goal today.
There’s another big decision to be made at right-back. Conor Bradley is back from his injury, although it might still be a bit too early for him to be starting, and with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez still out injured, there are two options to get the nod at right-back.

Curtis Jones will be in the frame again after impressing against Everton, although with Liverpool likely to see a bit less of the ball today, we’re going with Jarell Quansah to start instead. Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson retain their usual spots in the back four.
Although Jones doesn’t start at right-back, that doesn’t mean he comes out of the team. Hopefully, Alexis Mac Allister isn’t feeling any ill effects from James Tarkowski’s horror tackle in midweek, but in any case, it might be worth giving the Argentine a rest.

Therefore, we’re going with Jones to start alongside Ryan Gravenberch in midfield, with Dominik Szoboszlai taking his usual spot in the No.10 role. As usual, Mohamed Salah will line up to his right.
It’s probably about time Cody Gakpo made his return to the side, so we’re putting him back on the left in place of Luis Diaz. Having finally got his name back on the scoresheet against Everton, Diogo Jota continues up front, with the Portuguese clearly looking to be Slot’s go-to man up front – at least until the summer.
Predicted Liverpool line-up vs Everton: Kelleher; Quansah, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Jones; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Jota.
