RKC Waalwijk play host to Heracles on Sunday looking for the win that they require to give themselves a better chance of avoiding relegation to the second tier of Dutch football.

At a time when the home side sit in 17th position in the Eredivisie table, Heracles are in 10th spot, seven points clear of the relegation zone.

We say: RKC Waalwijk 1-1 Heracles

With a draw against AZ last time out, RKC will be playing with a greater belief in this contest. However, we still do not feel that it will be enough to earn the maximum return that they need, leading us to back a share of the spoils.

A crucial match in the race for European spots in the Eredivisie is on the cards this weekend, with Go Ahead Eagles playing host to FC Utrecht at De Adelaarshorst on Sunday afternoon.

With a little bit of luck in results elsewhere this weekend, a win for the hosts in this match could take them as high as fifth in the league standings, while the visitors could move into the top three.

We say: Go Ahead Eagles 2-2 FC Utrecht

We are expecting a very close contest this weekend, with the hosts entering the match unbeaten in their last nine home games, while the visitors have yet to taste defeat on the road this season.

There was nothing to separate these two when they met back in December in the reverse fixture, and we feel they will have to settle for a share of the spoils in this one as well.

Sparta Rotterdam play host to NEC Nijmegen on Sunday looking to extend their advantage over the Eredivisie relegation zone.

At a time when the home side sit in 15th position in the table and four points clear of 16th, NEC are just two points ahead of their next opponents in 12th place.

We say: Sparta Rotterdam 2-1 NEC

Although the visitors hold an advantage in the league table, it is fair to say that they should not be viewed as the favourites to prevail from this fixture. We are backing Sparta to extend their unbeaten streak to five matches with a hard-fought success, one which would see them leapfrog their opponents in the standings.

Ajax will continue their push toward the Eredivisie title this weekend when they play host to NAC Breda at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts are nine points clear of the defending champions PSV Eindhoven at the top of the standings, while the visitors are on 30 points, six ahead of the bottom three.

We say: Ajax 2-0 NAC Breda

Ajax have been on a tear in the Eredivisie since the start of the year, and they will be brimming with confidence coming into this match off the back of a crucial victory over PSV last week.

The hosts are unbeaten at home this season with 11 wins and just two draws in 13, and we feel they will extend that record with another comfortable victory in this one.
