Bayern Munich is in firm control of the race at this point, but is still — somewhat — within striking distance of Bayer Leverkusen. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund is making a late charge at trying to claw back into a top four position to clinch Champions League spot, but it will not be easy for BVB.
Sitting in 8th place and five points behind 4th place Mainz 05, Borussia Dortmund is not in a position to drop points — which should heighten the tension for this Bundesliga showdown.
