TBR Football have now received information from Southampton sources after Ivan Juric left St Mary’s.
The Croatian has walked away from Southampton after relegation from the Premier League was confirmed on Sunday, following the 3-1 defeat against Tottenham.
Since replacing Russell Martin in December, the man from Split lost 12 of his 14 Premier League games in charge, with Southampton now officially the earliest-ever side to be relegated.

As a result, focus has shifted towards preparing the Saints for the 2025/26 Championship campaign, and TBR Football understand Southampton are considering a Premier League legend in Frank Lampard to replace Ivan Juric.
Southampton monitoring Frank Lampard
Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent for TBR Football – has now been told that Southampton could hire the Coventry boss as their new manager.
Sources state that the Saints have considered hiring Lampard in the past, and have been left very impressed by his efforts at Coventry.
The man born in Romford has won 14 of his 25 games in charge to put the Sky Blues firmly in the mix for promotion via the play-offs.
TBR Football understand Lampard will become an option if Coventry fail to go up, while another Premier League legend in Steven Gerrard has even been mentioned by sources close to the situation.

However, the two frontrunners to replace Juric – as things stand – are Danny Rohl and Liam Rosenior.
We recently revealed that Southampton like Rosenior – although BlueCo are determined to keep the Englishman as he has Strasbourg on the brink of UEFA Champions League qualification.
Contrastingly, Rohl is desperate to leave Sheffield Wednesday, and also has a £5m release clause in his contract, which could make it easier for Southampton to hire the German.
What Antonio Conte has previously said about Frank Lampard
Despite receiving a P45 at both Chelsea and Everton, the Londoner has shown flashes of being a talented coach – and he has already impressed one big name in football.
For the first time in over 55 years, we have made it eight wins in nine league games.

Antonio Conte rates Lampard – previously calling the Englishman a “really good manager” while the Italian was in charge of Tottenham.
He said: “They are a strong team. Frank Lampard is a really good manager and they are doing a really good job.”
Furthermore, Jordan Pickford enjoyed working with Lampard at Goodison Park, so you can see why Southampton admire the 46-year-old.
