Okay this is late, but it’s been a week folks.
Bayern Munich’s 3-1 victory over Augsburg has been overshadowed by a serious injury to wunderkind Jamal Musiala…and then there was the Thomas Müller exit. It has been a WEEK.
Nonetheless, we had a game last weekend — well, Friday — and we will have two more next week. So let’s get into it.
Bayern’s costly victory over Augsburg saw the visiting Bavarians run away with possession, attacking chances, spaces…and also utilize all of that just poorly enough to flirt with dropping points. Dimitris Giannoulis put the home side up at the half-hour mark and Augsburg had chances again to equalize later on, despite going a man down at the hour mark.
