Bayern Munich vs. Inter Milan is a classic showdown…
Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany holds a lot of respect for Inter Milan and Simone Inzaghi ahead of his team’s Champions League showdown with the Serie A powerhouse.
“We will try to create problems for Inter because they are a team that has done very well in recent years. They know how to manage the various phases of the game, they know when to defend and when to attack, they have the attitude and experience. They are one of the strongest teams in Europe,” Kompany told Sky Sport (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “The important thing tomorrow is that there are good players and both Inter and Bayern have them. As for Italian coaches, I had Roberto Mancini with whom I won the Premier League at Manchester City. I was certainly inspired by him. I see something of Mancini in Inzaghi.”
Kompany will have to be on-point and willing to be flexible against a balanced Inter Milan squad.
