TBR Football can exclusively reveal that Inter Miami are pressing ahead to try and complete a move for Kevin De Bruyne in the summer after he announced his exit from Manchester City on Saturday.
De Bruyne was close to joining San Diego FC until very recently.
However, San Diego FC no longer intend to sign De Bruyne due to the finances involved in any potential deal to sign the midfield maestro.
But now, David Beckham has a plan in place to ensure that Kevin De Bruyne dons an Inter Miami strip next season.

David Beckham in talks to sign Kevin De Bruyne for Inter Miami
Graeme Bailey — TBR Football’s chief correspondent has been notified that Beckham and his hierarchy are in talks with De Bruyne to make him Inter Miami’s marquee signing in the following campaign.
The advantage that David Beckham and Inter Miami now have on their side is San Diego FC gave up their discovery player rights — a rule in Major League Soccer that gives clubs the exclusive right to hold talks with a certain player — who is De Bruyne in this case.
Furthermore, TBR Football have previously revealed that the Manchester City legend has always fancied a move to the United States over Saudi Arabia — despite the Pro League’s interest in his signature.
While City Football Group-owned MLS club New York City FC have also been keen on signing De Bruyne, the six-time Premier League winner and his family prefer a move to Florida.
What is also attractive about playing for Inter Miami is that the Belgian international will be able to partake in the FIFA Club World Cup — where he could line up against Pep Guardiola’s men.
However, the only concern for David Beckham as he dreams of signing De Bruyne is that Inter Miami’s three designated player (DP) slots have been taken up by Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.
All possibilities are being explored to seal a deal to bring the Drongen-born technician to Miami, including him potentially taking home wages much lesser than expected and then the figures being made up for in the future.
Manchester City’s two targets to replace Kevin De Bruyne
Regardless of whether two of arguably the greatest crossers in Premier League history in Beckham and De Bruyne do link up at Inter Miami, Manchester City’s primary focus should be to try and find a replacement for their captain.
One of them is Florian Wirtz, who Manchester City are eyeing.
Manchester City reckon Wirtz could leave Bayer Leverkusen and his next destination could either be the Etihad Stadium or staying in Germany to sign for Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich side.
Charles de Ketelaere is on Manchester City’s shortlist as well — a player who has played with De Bruyne for Belgium as well.
