Following a couple of challenging seasons, Moise Kean has been in scintillating form for Fiorentina this season.

It’s fair to say that Kean has rediscovered the performances that once made him one of Europe’s most promising young talents when he was a teenager at Juventus.

The 25-year-old has scored 17 goals and provided 3 assists in 28 Serie A appearances this season, firing La Viola to a European push.

Premier League fans though will probably remember Kean from his stint at Everton.

Then again, you are excused for not remembering it, the Italian only scored 2 goals following a big-money move from Juventus in 2019.

Perhaps, the most notable moment from his time at Goodison Park was when temporary Everton boss Duncan Ferguson substituted him just 18 minutes after bringing him on against Manchester United.

Moise Kean attracting from Arsenal and Newcastle

The Italian has seemingly put his Everton embarrassment aside and now could be set for a sensational return to the Premier League with Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle all interested in the striker according to Calciomercato.

Kean reportedly has a release clause in his contract of around £43m and Fiorentina are said to be firm on that asking price.

Newcastle have reportedly already ‘made contact’ with the player’s agent but fellow Italian clubs Napoli and AC Milan are also supposedly vying for Kean’s signature.

Fiorentina are said to be negotiating a new contract with the Italian forward in an attempt to fend off any suitors.

Kean could help fix Arsenal striker woes

Arsenal’s forward line has been ravaged by injuries with Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka all being sidelined for large periods this season.

These issues have culminated in midfielder Mikel Merino being asked to spearhead the Gunners’ attack, a role he has taken on admirably in fairness, scoring 5 league goals when deployed up front.

Kean would certainly boost Arsenal’s attacking options and perhaps provide them with the out-and-out striker profile that their current squad is lacking.

The Italian’s tally of 17 league goals this season is the same as Havertz, Jesus and Leandro Trossard’s combined.

Kai Havertz 9
Leandro Trossard 5
Gabriel Jesus 3

With a host of clubs circling, Kean’s future is certainly one to watch closely this summer.
