Everton have a history of doing quite a lot of business with Manchester United over the years.
Wayne Rooney, Marouane Fellaini and Romelu Lukaku have all swapped Goodison Park for Old Trafford over the years, while Leighton Baines almost joined United at one point too.
Meanwhile, Morgan Schneiderlin, Donny van de Beek, James Garner and Tim Howard are a few players who have gone the other way.
Everton were linked to Victor Lindelof last year too.
Louis Saha is another player who swapped United for Everton, and speaking on The Lineup, the striker has now shared how he felt when he joined the Toffees and what he found strange after this move.
How Louis Saha felt after joining Everton
Saha spoke about his move to Everton from United.
The Frenchman says that he found it strange when he first arrived at Everton as he had this impression that there wasn’t a huge gap between the two clubs.
However, Saha eventually admitted that he had to adapt to the different level of quality at Everton, but he didn’t find it difficult to do so.
“You came from Manchester United where you were winning everything, winning leagues, then you come to us, how does that impact a player?” Saha was asked.
“It was strange, at first I had this impression that it was not a big gap, like the connection with the fans, the atmosphere, the desire competition wise, David Moyes is a huge competitor.
“I felt everything was set for me to express myself. But I had to adapt a bit, because it was different qualities. I found it really easy to adapt, it was not hard at all, I could see us winning trophies and we were very close.”
Louis Saha stats for Everton
Louis Saha was one of the Premier League’s most lethal forwards once upon a time.
Indeed, during his time at Fulham, Saha was a Golden Boot contender, earning himself a move to Manchester United.
However, the Frenchman would struggle with injuries during his time at Old Trafford and he never quite lived up to his potential for the Red Devils.
Saha lost a yard of pace due to his injuries, but he still managed to put up respectable numbers for Everton, scoring 13 goals in his second Premier League season at the club.

Saha also made history at Everton, scoring what was then the fastest goal in FA Cup final history in 2009, before Ilkay Gundogan broke that record in 2023.
Saha had to adjust to the different style of play at Everton due to the different level of quality in the squad, and, in the end, he turned into a very decent centre-forward option for the Toffees.
