Laimer stated that such games are decided by little details.
Bayern Munich lost 2-1 in the first leg of the Champions League to Inter Milan. In what was slated to be an already difficult match for Bayern, Inter’s quick responses to any mistakes or lapses in attention proved lethal.
Konrad Laimer stated that it was the ‘little details’ that decided today’s game, via @iMiaSanMia. “It’s halftime. I thought we deserved better today, we played well in large parts of the game,” he said, insisting that the Bavarians played well enough to win.
Further speaking on Inter’s ability to capitalize on any lacunae in the opposition, he said “Inter is a good team, they had their moments and took them well today.”
The team’s focus remains on the fixture at home against Borussia Dortmund in the weekend, followed by the away fixture at the San Siro next mid-week. “We have to have full energy there,” he announced.
“Such games are decided by little details. We saw how quickly it can go in both ways,” he remarked.
