There’s been some chat about Harry Kane moving clubs at some point in the near future.
Indeed, Kane has a release clause at Bayern Munich that comes into effect soon, and the striker could well be on the move at some point.
Of course, a return to the Premier League has been touted as Harry Kane still needs to break Alan Shearer’s goalscoring record.
Liverpool have been touted as a potential destination for Kane, while Wayne Bridge could see Kane joining Arsenal.
Speaking on ESPN, James Olley has been asked how likely it is for Kane to join Arsenal, and he gave an interesting answer.
The percentage chance Harry Kane signs for Arsenal
Olley shared how likely he believes this transfer to be.
As you can imagine, Kane isn’t likely to join the Gunners, but Olley didn’t rule it out entirely, stating that there may be a 10% chance of this deal happening.
“I mean, they need a centre-forward, he was a boyhood fan. I’m sat here, just for those watching, I’m at London Colney in the Arsenal training ground in the interpreter’s room. I don’t know if I’m influenced by being here,” Olley said.
“If you want me to put a number on it, I’ll say 10%, but that may be being generous.”
Players to play for Tottenham and Arsenal
Kane to Arsenal isn’t likely due to the striker’s strong affinity and links to Tottenham.
However, there is precedent for this kind of deal to happen.
Of course, Sol Campbell famously crossed this divide back in 2001, while there have been a number of other players to play for both clubs as well.

Crossing this divide is a taboo, and every player who does ends up affecting their legacy at one of the clubs, but it’s not unheard of.
Kane to Arsenal isn’t likely, let’s be honest, but with the Gunners so desperate to sign a new striker, and the England captain potentially available, there may be scope for Arsenal to at least ask the question.
One thing is for sure, if this deal did happen, it would be one of the most shocking transfers ever.
