Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed his starting side for Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final first leg with Lyon in France, with Kobbie Mainoo named on the bench.
Mainoo returned to training on Wednesday after more than two months on the sidelines with a muscular problem, but the England international is back among the substitutes for the European fixture in France.
Amorim has named the same side that took to the field for the first whistle against Manchester City last time out, with Mason Mount and Joshua Zirkzee therefore both featuring on the bench.
Matthijs de Ligt is still out, which means another start for Harry Maguire, while youngsters Jaydan Kamason and Jack Moorhouse are on the bench alongside Harry Amass and Godwill Kukonki.
Rasmus Hojlund has saved his best form for the Europa League this season, scoring five times and registering three assists in 10 appearances in the competition, while Bruno Fernandes has four goals and three assists in nine European outings this term.
Alejandro Garnacho joins Hojlund and Fernandes in the front three, with Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte operating in central midfield.
