Arne Slot has confirmed Alisson is available to face West Ham United on Sunday after missing the last two weeks due to a head injury.
The Brazilian goalkeeper missed the last two matches as a result of the issue he suffered while on international duty three weeks ago. But Slot said in Friday’s press conference – a briefing that was mainly dominated by news on Mohamed Salah’s contract extension – that his stopper has recovered.
It means Alisson will likely come in to replace Caoimhin Kelleher in the starting XI, while there could also be a change at right-back. Jarell Quansah and Curtis Jones have been deployed in that role over the last three games due to an injury crisis.
But Conor Bradley returned to the side last week in the defeat against Fulham following a two-month injury layoff and Slot confirmed the academy graduate is ready to start when West Ham travels to Anfield on Sunday.
The Northern Irishman came on with 23 minutes remaining at Craven Cottage and provided an assist for Luis Diaz during his cameo appearance.
“Of course it’s a boost, it’s always a boost when quality players come back,” Slot said of Bradley. “Especially quality players in that position, because I think Curtis Jones is a quality player but it’s not his favourite position.
“So to have a player in his favourite position might be better for the team. And Conor has done so well for us this season, just like Trent [Alexander-Arnold]. But when Trent then isn’t there, you always hope to look behind you and see that Conor is available.
“But then if he isn’t, we have to solve that problem. And we are not the only team in this league that has had these problems. We’ve tried to bring the best out of it.

“That worked really well against Everton. I think Curtis played well also against Fulham. Of course he was involved in the goal but you can ask yourself the question if he could do so much about that. He did it quite well to very well, in my opinion, for two times. But now to have Conor back, I think we all would make the same decision and that’s playing Conor in that position.”
It means Liverpool only has two injuries head into the game, with Alexander-Arnold still absent and Joe Gomez also set to miss out against West Ham. A win for the Reds would chip away three of the 10 points needed to be confirmed as champions.
