Is a bigger move in the works at Bayern Munich?
According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (aa captured by @iMiaSanMia), Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Gittens would cost too much money for Bayern Munich:
Jamie Gittens was on Bayern’s list for a long time, but as things stand, the club will not pursue a move for him this summer due to the high price tag, the cost-cutting measures and the fact the club is saving money for Florian Wirtz, who is the main target this summer. Bayern are in contact with Luis Henrique, who is considered a cheaper alternative for the wide positions.
Even if Bayern Munich had the cash for Gittens, it feels like the youngster is headed back to England.
As for what Bayern Munich will do…maybe they have a plan?
