Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Vitor Pereira has seemingly already confirmed his decision regarding Matheus Cunha‘s involvement in Sunday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Brazilian attacker returns from suspension for the visit of Spurs to Molineux, but Pereira has suggested that he will not fix what is not broken with regards to his team selection, having overseen three wins in a row.
As a result, Cunha will have to be content with a place on the bench in Sunday’s game, as Jorgen Strand Larsen and Marshall Munetsi continue in the final third.
However, Pablo Sarabia should almost certainly come into Pereira’s thinking for a start over Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, having inspired his side’s comeback against Ipswich Town last weekend with a goal and assist off the bench.
Further back, it should be as you were for the Old Gold, as Andre and Joao Gomes reprise their midfield partnership while stalwarts Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri provide the width.
Emmanuel Agbadou has seamlessly slotted into the Wolves defence since his January arrival from Reims, and the 27-year-old will continue alongside Matt Doherty and Toti in front of Jose Sa once more.
Pedro Lima (ankle), Sasa Kalajdzic (knee), Enso Gonzalez (knee), Yerson Mosquera (knee) and Leon Chiwone (knee) remain out injured.
Wolverhampton Wanderers possible starting lineup:
Sa; Doherty, Toti, Agbadou; Semedo, Andre, Gomes, Ait-Nouri; Sarabia, Munetsi; Larsen
