Arsenal are reportedly keen to sign Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra during this summer’s transfer window.
The 21-year-old has again been an important player for Los Che during the 2024-25 campaign, making 32 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and registering three assists in the process.
In total, the Spaniard has made 83 appearances for the six-time Spanish champions, scoring seven goals and registering four assists, and he is believed to be on the radar of a number of major European clubs.
According to Fichajes, the strongest interest at this moment in time is arriving from the Premier League in the shape of Arsenal, with the Gunners said to be determined to secure his signature during this summer’s transfer window.
The report claims that Valencia, for obvious reasons, are reluctant to lose Guerra, but Los Che understand that it will be incredibly difficult to keep hold of a player of his ilk moving forward.

Arsenal ‘keen on summer move for Guerra’
Guerra has a contract with Valencia until June 2027, and it is understood that the release clause in his deal is €100m (£87m), leaving Los Che in a strong position when it comes to the upcoming market.
Valencia have had an underwhelming season, but Carlos Corberan‘s side have now been victorious in four of their last five matches in Spain’s top flight, which has left them up in 12th position in the La Liga table.
The team are currently eight points clear of the relegation zone, so it is difficult to imagine them being pulled into danger at this stage.
Valencia are therefore set to be a solid position when it comes to summer negotiations, with Manchester United also believed to be admirers, although the Red Devils are not thought to be planning a move at this stage of proceedings.

Would Guerra be a good signing for Arsenal?
Guerra is a wonderful talent, and he has the perfect skillset for the Premier League considering his energy and ability on the ball.
The midfielder has been in excellent form of late, and he struck the winner in Valencia’s 1-0 success over Sevilla on Friday night, which capped another strong performance for the Spaniard.
It is not a surprise that Arsenal are keen on Guerra, but it is highly unlikely that the Gunners will have a clear run at the Los Che academy product, as he is fast developing into one of the best central midfielders in Spain’s top flight.
